Every bespoke piece usually takes about 6-8 weeks to make and is handcrafted in one of our ateliers in Antwerp, Belgium.
How does the bespoke process work?
- First, we will determine the scope of your project. Are you envisioning something specific, or would you like our help narrowing it down to a few ideas?
- We will review your budget to ensure your project aligns with your expectations.
- Next, we will create several designs and source the highest quality diamonds and/or gemstones to bring your vision to life.
- We’ll present different design options and quotes in a meeting—either in our showroom or via video/phone call.
- You provide us with feedback, and we will refine the design, stones, or budget as needed.
- Once you approve the final design and confirm your order, we will begin crafting you piece upon receiving payment.
Please note: bespoke pieces require time and precision, so allow 6–8 weeks for completion. In case your piece is time-sensitive, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your time frame.
Reparations
We also offer jewelry repair services. Whether it’s repairing, replacing lost stones, or polishing and refurbishing worn pieces, we love to help bring new life to your beloved jewelry—contact us to learn more.

Our materials and production process
18ct gold
We solely work with high-quality 18ct gold, in yellow, rosé and white gold. This means its color will not fade away and stands the test of time. Upon request, we can work with Palladium instead of white gold.
Natural diamonds
Edès strongly favors and advocates for natural diamonds. We believe a rare product will always retain a certain value. Lab-grown/synthetic diamonds are mass-produced and do not offer the same value retention conditions. While we do not recommend this product, we can upon request provide you a quote and fulfil your order with LG/synthetic diamonds. Want to learn more? We are always happy to engage in a discussion about the difference between natural and lab-grown/synthetic diamonds.
Gemstones
The world of gemstones is filled with color, myths and legends. Every month signifies one or multiple birthstones. Edès' personal favorites are the Tourmaline (October) and Citrine (November), Sky Blue Topaz (December) and Aquamarine (March). We carefully hand-pick every stone upon its unique beauty and quality.
Jewelry care and warranty
Jewelry care recommendations
1. Avoid contact with harsh chemicals (e.g. chlorine, bleach)- they can damage both the gold and gemstones. Therefore, please remove your pieces before swimming or using harsh cleaners.
2. Regular cleaning - clean your piece with a soft, lint-free damp cloth to remove dirt, oils and other residue. For more thorough cleaning, put your piece in a glass of lukewarm water with a small amount of mild soap. Let it sit overnight, then clean with a mild brush and rinse. Periodically, come see us at our showroom and we'll be more than happy to clean your piece professionally.
3. Avoid abrasives - always opt for mild brushes to prevent scratches on the gold or gemstones.
4. Store each piece separately - to prevent scratching or tangling of chains. Our lovely jewelry boxes and pochettes are so soft, your jewelry piece will thank you!
Manufacturing warranty
Edès solely covers the cost of manufacturing defects. In the case of improper use, accidental damage and general wear and tear, we will repair your piece at cost. Edès' manufacturing warranty does not cover any losses. Equally, jewelry that was altered or repaired by another jeweller will no longer be covered in our manufacturing warranty.
